Day 1 - Istanbul - 19th December 2013
Welcome to Istanbul. On arrival you will be transfered to your hotel and the day is yours to explore Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2 - Istanbul - Old City Tour - 20th December 2013
(Breakfast included)
Tour the city that spans both Europe and Asia visiting the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofya, Topkapi Palace, Underground Cistern and the Hippodrome. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 3 - Gallipoli Battlefields - 21st December 2013
(Breakfast and dinner included)
Today we visit the WWI Battlefields of Gallipoli including Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair Memorials, ANZAC Cove, Johnston's Jolly and the Gallipoli Museum. Overnight in Guzelyali.

Day 4 - Troy & Pergamon - 22nd December 2013

Step back in time today as we visit Troy and it's famed Trojan Horse, followed by a tour of the magnificent acropolis of Pergamum. It's impressive temples, library and medical facilities made it a renowned cultural and political centre in its time. Overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 5 - Ephesus & Kusadasi - 23rd December 2013

Absorb yourself in history today with a guided tour of Ephesus. Walk down Marble Road towards the Celsus Library and Grand Theatre and immerse yourself into the mystical atmosphere of the ancient city. We also visit the Selcuk Museum before a leather goods display. Turkey produces some of the finest leather goods in the world and many are made here before branding in Italy. Overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 6 - Pamukkale & Hierapolis - 24th December 2013

Take a dip in the hot springs in the magnificent white calcium formations of Pamukkale, followed by the ancient city of Hierapolis. Overnight in Pamukkale.

Day 7 - Christmas Day in Demre - 25th December 2013

Today we visit Demre, home of the original St. Nicholas (aka Santa Claus), where he lived as Bishop of the area. We visit his church and tomb before heading to Finike for Christmas dinner. Overnight in Kemer.

Day 8 - Perge, Aspendos & Konya - 26th December 2013

Tour the ancient ruins of Perge with its impressive stadium walls and Aspendos, known for one of the best preserved theatres of Asia Minor, still used today. Overnight in Konya.

Day 9 - Konya, Cappadocia & Caravanserai - 27th December 2013

Today we visit Konya and the Mevlana Museum before heading to the lunar landscape of Cappadocia. En-route, we stop at an ancient Silk Road Caravanserai, before we trek through the beautiful Ihlara Valley. Tonight, don't miss the optional traditional Turkish folklore evening. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 10 - Underground City, Goreme, Uchisar Castle - 28th December 2013

Marvel at the lunar landscape of Cappadocia with a fully guided tour of Goreme Valley, the fairy chimneys, Uchisar castle, Derinkuyu underground city and more. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 11 - Ankara - 29th December 2013

Today we visit the nation's capital, Ankara, with a tour of the award winning Anatolian Civilisation's Museum. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 12 - Istanbul - 30th December 2013

New Year Eve and it's a chance for some last minute New Year gifts, or even to treat yourself. We will make a shopping tour in which you will be aware of the ancient arts of Turkey like carpet weaving, leather manufacturing and jewellery. As this will be a guided tour, you will avoid being hassled which will enable you enjoy the shopping experience whilst gaining the knowledge of the ancient craftsmen.
We will then visit the GRAND COVER BAZAAR. In this labyrinth of streets and passages are more then 4,000 shops with each trade having its own area: the goldsmiths' street, the carpet sellers, Turkish arts and crafts, such as hand painted ceramic plates, hand-honed copper ware, brass ware and trays, water ewers, onyx-ware and meerschaum pipes. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 13 - New Years Eve - 31st December 2013

The day is yours to relax and enjoy Istanbul before your New years eve celebration starts. The whole of Istanbul is electric on this night and everyone is out to celebrate. At 19:00 we will meet in the foyer of the hotel and take you to one of our favourite restaurants in Istanbul. You will enjoy traditional Turkish food and free local drinks between 9-11.30 while you are entertained by the live Music. We will celebrate into the New Year until 2am, when you can keep partying or be taken back to the hotel with your guide. This will truly be a night to remember. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 14 - New Year Day - 1st January 2014
