09:00 - Breakfast 10:00 – 18:00 BAKU CITY EXCURSION (guide service) Start sightseeing tour in Baku. Visit Memory Alley – “Shehidler Khiyabany”, from where you can have a great panoramic view of Baku city. Continue touring new Baku and exploring architecture of XIX- XX centuries: Nizami Street, Fountain Square, Nizami Ganjavi monument. Pay a visit to Azerbaijan History National Museum and move to the old part of the city – Icheri Sheher. Visit Maiden Tower, Shirvan Shahs’ Palace, Caravanserai, and market square with numerous art studios and souvenirs stalls. Excursion Maiden Tower (XII century) (under the UNESCO World Heritage List of Historical Monuments as cultural property, Category III), Juma Mosque (XII century), Caravanserais (XIV-XV centuries). Excursion to the museum complex "Shirvanshahs Palace” (XV century) (UNESCO heritage site) The street''s history could be traced back to Baku''s town-planning project of 1864. The street runs through the city''s downtown from west to east. It begins from Abdulla Shaig Street, in mountainous part of the city and ends at railroad bed on Sabit Orujov Street, near a monument to Shah Ismail Khatai in “Black City”. Excursion to Carpet Museum. Lunch in national cousine Excursion to Funicular. An excellent round-up to the city tour will be visit to the richest bank of Azeri carpets – National CarpetsMuseum. Overnight at the hotel. Carpet Museum Carpet weaving in Azerbaijan appeared a long time ago. It is the oldest type of applied arts of this land; the fact has been proved by numerous archaeological findings across the country.Since its foundation, the unique exposition was completed not only with carpets, but also other national Azerbaijan art items. Today it has more than 14000 exhibits: rare carpets, exquisite jewelry pieces, clothing, embroidery, modern delicate workmanship of glass, wood and felt. The museum is a real fount of the traditional culture.In August 2014, the relics got a new luxurious house – a palace in the form of a folded carpet. The authors of the project are well-known Austrian architects Franz Janz and Walter Mari. 3. Highland Park is located in the city center and the funicular connects the center. Highland Park marvelous panorama of the city and the bay opens. Park is one of the best parks in the country and skillfully used by the architect LIlin relief is distinguished by its originality. This day will be spent primarily within Great Baku, where You will be taken to main sites on Absheron Peninsula Ateshgah - the Fire Worshippers'' Temple situated in the village of Surakhany. It was built on the land where natural gas was burned eternally by Zoroastrian believers who travelled from the province of Multan in India to worship. These ancient fires are believed to have given Azerbaijan Gobustan is an open-air museum with littered Neolithic rock drawings. Just 65km in the South of Baku, Gobustan has some 4000 inscriptions that go back 12,000 years (with some 2000 year old Latin graffiti to boot). You can see a lot of drawings made by Stone Age folks on the rocks, which reflect the daily life, especially as they were hunting and liked boogie. Their dances are thought to have been accompanied by the melodious strains of the Gaval-Dashy (Tambourine Stone) - a rock that has a deep, resonating tone when struck.Back to the hotel, leisure.

Breakfast in the hotel 12 : 00 - Departure from the hotel Excursion in Heydar Aliyev Center and the Museum of Modern Art (duration: 3 hours) Heydar Aliyev Center is a cultural center, projected as a complex structure that includes the Auditorium (convention center), a museum, exhibition halls, administrative offices. The project center has been designed by renowned architect ZahaHadid. Heydar Aliyev Cultural Centre is considered to be one of the symbols of modern Baku.
