Pick up at 08:30am from your hotel for the a day tour of old Istanbul city. Visit to ST. SOPHIA This ancient basilica, built by Constantine the Great in the 4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century, is one of the architectural marvels of all time. TOPKAPI PALACE The great palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries housing an exquisite collection of cyrstal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, the Holy Mantle enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed. SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE Across from St. Sophia built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, is known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. HIPPODROME Ancient Hippodrome, the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. Murtis tour will then take you to the GRAND COVERED BAZAAR In this labyrinth of streets and passages are more then 4, 000 shops with each trade having its own area: the goldsmiths street, the carpet sellers, Turkish arts and crafts, such as handpainted ceramic plates, hand - honed copperware, brassware and trays, water ewers, onyx - ware and meerschaum pipes. Pick up at 08:30am from the hotel and depart for the Istanbul Bosphorus Cruise and Shopping tour. Visit the SPICE BAZAAR (Egyptian Bazaar) The air here is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme and every other conceivable herb and spice. BOSPHORUS BY BOAT a traditional excursion by boat along the waterway separating Europe and Asia. The shore is lined with old wooden villas, palaces of marble, fortresses, and small fishing villages. During the excursion you will see the magnificent sights of the following attractions from your boat. See Dolmabahce Palace, and further along, the parks and imperial pavilions of Yildiz Palace. On the coastal edge of this park, is Ciragan Palace, 300 meters of its marble facade faces the shore. At Ortakoy a great variety of artists gather every Sunday to display their work along the street. Ortakoy is a symbol of tolerance with a church, a mosque and a synagogue existing side by side for centuries. RUMELI FORTRESS Built by Mehmet the Conqueror in 1452 prior to the conquest of Istanbul was completed in only four months to control and protect the infamous Bosphorus passage. It is one of the most beautiful works of military architecture anywhere in the world. BEYLERBEYI PALAS (PALACE) The summer residence of Ottoman sultans exists in its original renovated glory featuring original antique furniture and magnificent gardens with the Harem on the Asian side of Istanbul. BOSPHORUS BRIDGE enjoy a unique chance to step from one continent (Asia) to another (Europe). CAMLICA HILL the highest point in Istanbul. At the top of it you can rest and admire the magnificent panorama of Istanbul and the Bosporus from the beautiful gardens, landscaped in traditional Turkish Ottoman style. SHOPPING TOUR (after cruise) Experience the traditional silk weaving skills of Turkish women at the carpet weaving courses provided by The Ministry of National Education. After breakfast check out from the hotel and depart for Istanbul Ataturk International airport for fly to Tashkent. Your arrival in Tashkent. Check in to the hotel after 2:00 pm. Panoramic sight seeing tour of Tashkent. Khast Imam Square - the holy heart of Tashkent and the least Russified or Sovietized part of the city - consisting of Barak Khan Madrassah (was founded in the 16th century by a descendant of Tamerlane who ruled Tashkent for the Shaybanid dynasty, Tillya Sheykh Mosque (built in the same time as Barak Khan Madrassah, now serves as the district’s Friday Mosque and Kafal Shashi mausoleum (The grave of a local doctor, philosopher and poet of Islam who lived from 904 to 979 Independence Square, Amir Temur Square, and Alisher Navoi Theatre Square. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
After breakfast at hotel we drive to Samarkand (320 km). Arrival and accommodation at hotel. We start to half day sight seeing tour of Samarkand. Observatory of Ulugbek (Ulugbek, Timur the Great’s grandson, was the founder of the unique constructions of the observatory (1428 - 1429) Necropolis Shakhi - Zinda and ensemble of mausoleums of the 11th - 19th centuries (According to the legend, the ensemble was erected around the grave of Kussam, a son of Abbas and cousin of Mohammed) Gur - Emir Mausoleum (graves of Tamerlane and his descendants, 15c). Dinner and overnight at hotel.
After breakfast at hotel and half a day sight seeing tour of Samarkand. Registan Square (meaning sandy place) became an official centre of Samarkand since Tamerlane the Great’s time. The Square is surrounded by the Ulugbek’s madrassah (1417 - 1420), the Sher - Dor madrassah (1619 - 1636), and Tilla - Kori madrassah (1646 - 1660) Mosque Bibi - Khanum (named in hohor of Timur’s eldest and favorite wife) Siab bazaar, a colorful main farmers’ market. Drive to Bukhara (300 km). Arrival and accommodation at hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
After breakfast at hotel. We start full day sight seeing tour of Bukhara. Liabi - Khauz Complex: Nodir - Divan - beghi madrassah (XVII century), Kukeldash madrassah (XVI century), Khonako (XVII century), Magoki - Attari mosque (XII c. , XVI century) visiting Chor Minor, a colorful madrassah with four peculiar looking towers - the Chor - Minor (1807) - was used as a library for students Samanids mausoleum, the burial place of the Samanids (9th - 10th ccentury) is a masterpiece of Central Asian architecture. The building boasts no colorful facades and paintings, but claims its fame as being the first Muslim mausoleum in Central Asia), Chashma - Ayub shrine (XIV - XVI ccentury) known as a curative source, local bazaar, Bolo - Khauz mosque including mosque (XVIII century), minaret (1914 - 17) and basin, fortress Ark (citadel), a fortified residence of Emirs of Bukhara Poi - Kalyan complex (Big Minaret from the 12th century is the symbol of the city) consisting of Miri - Arab madrassah (XVI century), Kalyan minaret (XII century) and Djuma mosque (XV century) visiting trading domes consists of three trading centers: Tok - i - Zargaron (1570) - Jeweler’s bazaar, Tok - i - Tilpak Furushon - Cap Maker’s Bazaar, Tok - i - Sarrafon - Moneychanger’s Bazaar Ulugbek’s madrassah (XV century), and Abdulaziz - khan madrassah (XVII century). Dinner at one of the local restaurants. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Uzbek - Turkmen border point Farab. Going through visa and customs formalities. Meet by local Turkmen team. Drive to Farab (350 km). Arrival and accommodation at hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
After breakfast at hotel excursion to ancient city of Merv (40 km): Sultan - Sandjar mausoleum, Sultan Kala, ruins of walls of Abdoulla Khan Kala (XV century), ruins of fortress Kyz - Kala (VI - VII ccentury), ruins of fortress Erk Kala (VI century), Mukhammed Ibn Zeid mausoleum (XII century), etc. Return to Mary. Dinner at one of the local restaurants and overnight at hotel.
After breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Turkmen/Iran border point Serax (185 km). Crossing Iranian border and enter to Sarakhs passport and custom inspection. Meet and greet with throughout Iranian tour leader/guide. Drive to Mashhad. Visit of Gowharshad Mosque and the tomb of Nadershah - e Afshar, National Park and Koohe Sangi Promenade. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast morning flight to Tabriz and accommodation in the hotel. After then sightseeing in Tabriz. Visit to The Blue Mosque, The Building of the municipality by passing by, Azerbaijan Museum, Alishah citadel and bazar. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast we drive to the little port of Rahmanloo at the Urmiah Salt lake and have a view to the lake and the small rocky high rising islands on the other side. Drive on the same route back to and turn to Kanduvan village with the rocky houses like sugar cone, which the people used to be protected against the Mongolian invasion. Drive back to Tabriz to the El Goli Park, which is famous with the Pavillion from the Aghooyunloo period and restaurated during the Qajarian Kings dominion. Dinner and overnight in Tabriz.
After breakfast driving to Djolfa and visiting to the St. Stephanus Church, Continue drive to Nordooz, Iranian border to Armenia - Iranian customs and passport administration. (Next city in Armenia is Meghry). Meet Armenian guide at the border and drive to Goris. On your way to Goris. Visit the cave village of Khndzoresk, a picture, perfect valley with a stream running through it, where many caves and rock formations are waiting to be explored. Overnight at hotel in Goris.
After breakfast we start tour to the most magnificent monastery in all Armenia, Tatev Monastery (9 - 13cc), a former center for the sciences and art, where many famous Armenians lived and worked centuries ago. Tatev complex consists of three churches, a refectory, a library, a vault, and several residences. Magnificent canyons surround the monastery. On the way of Monastery of Tatev you will stop near Devil’s bridge. Explore Karahunj, an ancient observatory. The columns sit like soldiers on a hill. Excursion to the Selim pass with visit of medieval caravanserai on the Great Silk Road. Lunch . Drive to Vayots Dzor region. Sightseeing in Noravank monastery - a great religious and cultural centre of 12th c. On the way visit Areni wine factory to taste local wine made from special sorts of vines. Visit Khor Virap Monastery, one of the romantically sited monasteries in Armenia with view to the twin peaks of Mount Ararat. Arrive to Yerevan.
After breakfast we do excursion around Yerevan. Visit museum Matenadaran, Erebuni Fortress (782 BC). Ancient Yerevan was founded by King Argishti in 782 BC and named Erebuni. The castle town Arin Berd is like an open air museum. Visit Garni Pagan Temple. Walk along the canyon, by the beautiful columnar basalt 9th century stone bridge over the Azat River to Garni Pagan Temple, built in the 1st Century AD. Lunch at the local restaurant, where you will have a unique opportunity to bake the national Armenian bread, Lavash. Lavash is the spial bread, which can be stored for a very long time. Our tour continue to Geghard Monastery. The exact foundation of the monastery is unknown, the present complex was built in the mid - 13th century. Here, you will have the chance to listen to a beautiful choir. Overnight.
After breakfast we visit to Ejmiatsin, Hripsime. Then our tour continue to Lake Sevan (1, 900 meters above the sea level.) with its ever changing colors will provide us with the perfect environment to have lunch. On the peninsula of Lake Sevan, we will visit the Sevanavank Monastery. Return to Yerevan.
