5 DAYS HALONG HANOI CATBA ISLAND TOUR ITINERARY:

Day 1 - Ha Noi - Arrival Day
(Dinner included)
Welcome to Vietnam! Upon arrival at at Noi Bai airport in Ha Noi, meet tour guide and transfer to hotel. Ha Noi is the capital and second-largest city of Vietnam. From 1010 until 1802, it was the most important political centre of Vietnam. We will take the orientation tour of the town by cycle through the French quarter and ancient commercial area of Ha Noi. Enjoy the water puppet show then have dinner at local restaurant.
This evening, Murtis Tour will accompany you to enjoy water puppet show. It is is a tradition that dates back as far as the 11th century CE when it originated in the villages of the Red River Delta area of northern Vietnam. Todays Vietnamese water puppetry is a unique variation on the ancient Asian puppet tradition.

The puppets are made out of wood and then lacquered. The shows are performed in a waist-deep pool. A large rod supports the puppet under the water and is used by the puppeteers, who are normally hidden behind a screen, to control them. Thus the puppets appear to be moving over the water. When the rice fields would flood, the villagers would entertain each other using this form of puppet play. At the end of the tour, transfer back to your hotel. Overnight at Ha Noi.

Day 2 - Ha Noi - Ha Long

After breakfast, pick up from your hotel and shall start our morning city tour in Ha Noi, the highlights will be Ho Chi Minh‘s Mausoleum and his living complex. it is a large memorial to the Vietnamese leader in Hanoi (opened from December to September, on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and at weekend)

One Pillar Pagoda is a historic Buddhist temple Ho Chi Minh Museum. And we will visit to Temple of Literature which is a temple of Confucius in Vietnam and it nearly 1, 000 years old already! It is also the most prominent and famous is that situated in the city of Hanoi. At last, we will visit Hoan Kiem Lake before our lunch break. Hoan Kiem Lake is one of the major scenic spots in the city and serves as a focal point for its public life.

After having lunch in Ha Noi, we depart for Ha Long city, the World Natural Heritage with over 3000 limestone islands and islets scattering an area of 1500 sqkm in Tonkin Bay, during our journey, we will take a short break at Dong Trieu pottery village and Disable Handicraft village. Upon arrival, transfer and check in to your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Ha Long.

Day 3 - Ha Long - Cat Ba Island

This morning we will join the boat cruise to explore the Ha Long Bay with visiting some grottoes such as Dau go, Thien Cung. Arrive a surprise cave and explore the bay by kayak to Luong cave then paddle from there toward to tortoise islet, the human head islet and Cua Van fishing village. You will have pleasure time on boat while the captain and his sailors are preparing our seafood lunch.

Upon the cruise arrive Cat Ba Island, we will disembark and transfer to your hotel. Cat Ba is the largest island in the Bay and approximately half of its area is covered by a National Park. Dinner and overnight at Cat Ba Island.

Day 4 - Cat Ba Island - Hai Phong - Ha Noi

This morning we will take a light trek through the rainforest, then take high speed hydrofoil to Hai Phong city. In the city, we will visit Du Hang pagoda which was built under the Ly Dynasty. It was later renovated in the 17th century by Nguyen Dinh Sach, an officer of the imperial guard who resigned and became a Buddhist monk. Inside the pagoda are several statues that are intricately engraved in the style of the Nguyen Dynasty. Valuable relics, such as bronze tripods and gongs, are also kept in the pagoda. Afterwards, we will proceed to Ha Noi. Upon arrival, transfer and check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is leisure. Dinner and overnight at Ha Noi

Day 5 - Hoi Noi - End of Tour

After breakfast, check out from your hotel. Regarding your flight departure time, we will transfer to the airport for your international flight back home.
